House of 1000 Corpses is a 2003 exploitation horror film written and directed by Rob Zombie, and is also his directorial debut. It was released in the United States on April 11th, 2003 by Lions Gate Entertainment.

The Devil's Rejects is a 2005 exploitation horror film written and directed by Rob Zombie. It is the sequel to his 2003 film House of 1000 Corpses. It was released in the United States on July 22nd, 2005 by Lions Gate Entertainment.

Both films are about a family of psychopathic killers who live within rural Texas, Ruggsville to be exact.

Both movies at the times of their release and in the years since, have garnered a cult following, namely for their bizarre characters, stylized violence and eclectic dialogue.
